Iranian feature film 'Hattrick' has been scheduled to compete at the 21st edition of the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) in China.
Directed by Ramtin Lavvafi, the film won two Silver Simorghs for best script and best actress at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival.
“A dull quote says people do not change overnight as we fail to look at them every so often,” a brief synopsis of the film reads.
The movie cast includes Amir Jadidi, Parinaz Izadyar, Mahour Alvand and Saber Abar.
Along with Tokyo International Film Festival, the SIFF is one of the biggest film festivals in eastern Asia.
Organized by Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture, Radio, Film & TV and Shanghai Media & Entertainment Group, the 21st edition of the SIFF is slated for June 16-25, 2018.
